Using our website
When you use the Seventyseven online website or mobile applications information about your purchases (for example, what you have bought, when and where you bought it or how you paid for it) may be collected. This also includes any browsing behaviour and the type of devices you have used. We use your online browsing behaviour to helps us improve and measure the effectiveness of our marketing communications.
Our Mailing List
When you sign up to our Seventyseven mailing list the details you provide will be used to contact you about our products and services by phone, email and post or by responding to social media posts. We will send you relevant offers and news about our products and services in a number of ways including by email, but only if you have previously agreed to receive these marketing communications. When you register with us we will ask if you would like to receive marketing communications, and you can change your marketing choices online at any time.
We store our mailing list using MailChimp. We do not share your personal data with other organisations unless :
- if the law or a public authority say we must
- if we need to share data in order to establish, exercise or defen our legal rights (including the purposes of preventing fraud and reducing credit risk)
- to an organisation that we sell or transfer (or enter into negotiations to sell or transfer) any of our business activities. If a transfer or sale goes ahead, the organisations receiving your personal data can use your data in the same way as us; or
- to any other successors in title to our business.
Protecting your personal data
We protect the security of your information while it is being transmitted by encrypting it using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Seventyseven do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. MailChimp, Paypal & Shopify are the 3rd parties that we use to process your orders, and they enforce physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personal data. However, whilst we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data, please note that we cannot guarantee the security of any personal data that you transfer over the internet to us.
The personal data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by companies operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our service providers. We will put in place appropriate protection to make sure your personal data remains adequately protected and is treated in line with this Policy.
